Maggie's Farm MFOF

Maggie's Farm decided the Old Fashioned could use some updating. They took the classic American cocktail, and made it rum-based, and call it their MFOF. They aged their rum in rye whiskey barrels with additional American oak cubes to emphasize the aromas and flavors that only barrel-aging can bring. For the well-balanced, ready-to-drink cocktail, they combine the aged rum with Louisian turbinado sugar and aromatic bitters. Notes of maple, vanilla, cinnamon, almond and smoke permeate this new take on an American classic.
