La Luna Mezcal Tequilana is a rarity in the world of mezcal. Produced entirely from the agave traditionally used to make tequila. For each batch of Tequilana, La Luna balances traditional Blue Weber Agave with an heirloom varietal of Blue Weber known as Criollo. Because of its small size, high sugar content, and low yield, Criollo is often overlooked. But it has an unmistakably bright flavor. Tequilana owes its vibrant minerality, juiciness and creaminess to the heirloom agave.
