Two dramatically different agave varieties combine in this rich dram from Erstwhile Mezcal. A true 50-50 blend of Tepeztate and Tobalá, this Tepeztate-Tobalá Ensamble Mezcal is a limited edition bottle from 2018. The craft mezcal is Tepeztate-forward, with green, vegetal, and pear notes up front before allowing Tobalá's sweet, fruity tones to take over leading to a long, resonating finish with just a hint of smoke.
