Carl Ethan Akeley, noted Wildlife Conservationist, was known to drink tonic water and rooibos tea to prevent malaria. Legend has it, he would add a spot of gin to his tea and toast to good health. Dented Brick's award-winning Akeley Gin pays homage to the conservationist by crafting the gin with a short list of botanicals, including rooibos tea.
