About Dented Brick Distillery
In South Salt Lake, Utah, a team of entrepreneurs, self-dubbed “Utaheneurs,’ founded Dented Brick Distillery to follow their passions of sipping exceptional craft spirits and enjoying all the wild beauty that Utah has to offer. Naturally, they opened their distillery at the base of the stunning Wasatch Mountains.
Dented Brick Distillery occupies land with a legendary distilling past. The land came equipped with an artesian well that belonged to Hugh Moon, Utah’s first distiller on record. The well is filled with snow-melt from the Wasatch Mountains. That pristine water is what’s used to craft their award-winning spirits.
Dented Brick Distillery’s award-winning craft spirits are as storied as the land their distillery sits on. Their Akeley Gin is named for famed wildlife conservationist, Carl Ethan Akeley. Legend has it that while on expeditions he would drink rooibos tea and tonic water to prevent native maladies. Dented Brick honors this tradition by distilling their gin rooibos tea along with a slew of botanicals. Take a sip and taste the history.
