About Willett Distillery
During the crisp spring months of 1936, Thompson Willett founded a distillery near his family farm. Less than a year later, the first batches of Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey were ready to be bottled at Willett Distillery. The whiskeys are aged in rickhouses atop some of the highest ground in the county, allowing a fresh breeze to aid in the aging process. Some 80-plus years later, Thompson’s descendants continue the whiskey-making tradition with their award-winning brands of Kentucky Bourbon.
