Toledo Spirits Company founders Andrew Newby, Lukas Kummer and Dustin Wade did not have any distilling experience when they set out on their venture in 2013. But that didn’t matter to them. The group of close friends dove in head first. Developing their own processes and crafting their own recipes, they’re constantly evolving. And picking up awards too.

Toledo Spirits Company’s flagship product is their Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. It’s the revolving door of craft spirits. They take a microbrewery’s beer and fashion a whiskey out of it that mimics the beer’s flavor profile. But you’ve got to snag the bottles quick. Once they run out of one batch, they don’t make another like it.
