When Michael Skubic set out to establish Old Harbor Distilling Co., he was no stranger to San Diego’s craft beverage market. He had a covetable wealth of technical experience as the founder of the popular brewery Mike Hess Brewing. By 2013, Michael’s attention was being called in another direction. Craft spirits.
