About Crouch Distilling
Phil and Jessica Crouch established Crouch Distilling in 2014. Before opening Crouch Distilling, Phil was a miller for a local organic grain mill. While there, his interest in grains evolved from milling grits to brewing beer. Phil was inspired to open a distillery where he could use his experience to create a unique line of craft spirits. One thing lead to another and pretty soon Phil and Jessica were distilling whiskey in their kitchen with a small copper pot still. They take pride in every step of their craft, all the way from the grain to your glass.
They started their distillery to make their own whiskey, not repackage someone else’s. They choose the finest grains and malts for their spirits and mill them onsite themselves. Phil and Jessica are proud that they mash and distill their own spirits in small batches. Their whiskeys are aged on site in their unique cooperage, then bottled by hand. They've since branched out into brandies and rums, but the goal remains the same. All of Crouch Distilling’s spirits are handcrafted from scratch, using only the best ingredients.
