Made in Louisville from Blue Weber Agave, NULU 92 Añejo is aged for a full year in used bourbon barrels. It’s a no-brainer that using this Kentucky-made spirit makes for an unforgettable mint julep recipe. Accentuated with jalapeño, the NULU Julep is an easy way to spice up Derby Day at home.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. NULU 92 Anejo
- 0.5 oz. Agave Syrup
- 2 dashes Bonfire Bitters
- 8 Mint Leaves
- Mint Sprig, for garnish
Directions
- In a Julep cup, lightly muddle the mint leaves and bitters in the agave syrup
- Add the agave spirit then pack the glass tightly with crushed ice
- Stir until the cup is frosted on the outside
- Top with more crushed ice to form an ice dome, and garnish with a mint sprig
- Enjoy!
